Angel 2 - Luxury Apartment

Incredible Positive: There's always a risk properties won't live up to their online images/description, however The Angel 2 was as gorgeous as it looks in the photos. The location cannot be beaten if like us you want to be in the centre of Dartmouth on the seafront. The apartment was bigger than expected (again, photos can be deceiving) and has everything you could possibly need during your stay, even down to a cheese grater! Clean and bright, with the comfiest of beds and quality bed linen. The bathroom products are high quality, so much so we searched them online for when we return home! I travelled with my sister for her birthday as a surprise - our first holiday together in more than 20 years - and she was overwhelmed with my choice of stay. We stayed out of season and good value for money. Discount for guests is available in a couple of restaurants. We dined in the Embankment which is 2 minute walk from the apartment and so glad we did. The food was exceptional and the staff friendly, knowledgeable and attentive [without being annoying!]. Highly recommend. We are already planning our return.... Observations, not negatives.... We found the parking a bit tricky to locate initially but it is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. There are signs asking for a permit to be displayed, however unbeknownst to us this was in the apartment (we parked before going into the apartment). Not a huge issue as we dropped our bags and took the permit straight back to the car. We were fortunate to park outside the apartment to load our luggage when leaving.

Positive: Views, large living room Negative: Poor WiFi, no welcome pack, not even milk.

Beautiful waterfront apartment with super comfy beds with super clean bathrooms! Positive: Great position with fabulous views. Although a short walk to car park it was fabulous knowing you had parking. The beds were super comfy and bedlinen lush! Very clean, spacious and quiet. Negative: Nothing!

Couldn’t fault our stay - great apt - very clean - fairly well equipped Positive: Great location. Comfy beds. Great showers. Negative: Could’ve done with a few more personal items ie vase and some utensils.

A lovely stay. Positive: Great location and views Negative: Lots of stairs to get to the property. Although there was parking with the booking we were unable to use it as 2 large cars parked either side and we also have a Landrover Discovery so parking space was too small.
