Anchor Watch with Parking

Another perfect stay in Dartmouth. Already booked for next year. Positive: Fabulous location with perfect views. Nice modern and comfortable interior. Negative: Single beds in 2nd bedroom not really suitable for adults.

Positive: My heart sunk on finding lock on entrance door jammed so anybody could enter. The stairwell was a disgrace and really let the property down. Apart from broken lock the decor in hall was horrible and loads of uncollected mail lying on floor. One small complaint fridge was much to cold - it actually froze a cucumber. Locatipn/ view is lovely,also nice to have parking included not too far away. Negative: All included above

A fabulous stay in a pretty town with lovely people. Positive: Nicely furnished. Great view. Fabulous position. Fully equipped kitchen although we couldn’t find the dishwasher tablets. Negative: The entrance hall was slightly worrying as a bit scruffy, but its communal area. Once inside it was a different ballgame. We would have liked a sheet instead of just a duvet. Microfibre duvets are hot, would have liked to have the choice of just a sheet as the room was pretty warm at night. Not really enough to say we didn’t like the property though! Would have been nice to be able to have clean windows at the front too, for the view is just wonderful, hard to keep clean all the time being on the river front.

Great location and views but a little TLC and extra care needed in the apartment. Positive: The apartment is very central and has an excellent view of the harbour. It was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything you would need for a short break. Negative: Unfortunately, the floor is very uneven in parts and has been glued down but is still a trip hazard. There is very little fresh air in the apartment, as only two little windows open in the front room and the windows overall are very old, grubby and falling apart. They really need replacing. The TV is very hard to use even for the tech savvy and the bedding was stained in parts. You can also hear the upstairs noise considerably.
